 | Kelli Backman, Admissions Counselor Office #219 (402) 481-8698 kelli.backman@bryanlgh.org IM address: BryanLGH.Kelli@hotmail.com As an Admissions Counselor for BryanLGH College of Health Sciences, I work to recruit both traditional and non-traditional students across the state of Nebraska and the surrounding states of Missouri, Iowa and Kansas, making visits to high schools and working at college and career fairs and setting up campus tours with potential students.
I have been with BryanLGH College of Health Sciences since February 2007. However, I have worked in admissions for six years at other institutions.
In my spare time, I like being outside with my two boys and little girl, camping, working on scrapbooks, sports and spending time with my husband, Jace. I have two watchdogs, Cozmo and Chief, they are small Pomeranians and as you can probably guess - burglars don't stand a chance! We also have a cat, Scooby, who weighs more than our dogs put together at 27 pounds. My favorite show of all times is "Sex and the City" (and now movie)! I have the boxed gift set of the series under spotlight in our basement - long live the girls!

I have been with BryanLGH College of Health Sciences since January 2007. I have nine years of experience in higher education.
In my free time I enjoy reading, biking, Frisbee golf, sewing, photography, working with stained glass, watching spectator sports, traveling, spoiling my niece and nephew, and of course spending time with my husband, Allen. Allen and I have two dogs, a cairn terrier named Scrappy and a westie named Lily, who think they are the bosses of the house.

| Cindy Slone, Faculty Admissions Representative Office #314 (402) 481-8858 cindy.slone@bryanlgh.org As a faculty representative, my primary responsibility is offering Nursing and Allied Health information to high schools' career education classes in and around Lincoln. I have worked with middle school students through Bright Lights Summer Enrichment Program for 11 years to offer a Medical Explorers Camp. The students see many careers by doing hands-on learning labs, touring various facilities in the city and preparing presentations themselves. I have also helped with college fairs, assisted with admission interviews and offered shadowing opportunities for students deciding on their career of choice.
I am a BryanLGH graduate and have taught at the College since 1994; I have been involved in the Admissions Department since 2000. My previous experience in Nursing at the Medical Center was as a Nurse-Paramedic for an advanced life support unit in Lincoln as well as a Flight Nurse for Star Care.
In my free time, I spend time with my children. Kali graduated in 2007 with a Spanish and Music double major. My son, Kyle, is a senior studying Pre-Optometry and is a quad-drummer in the marching band. My dog, Tess, a Wheaten Terror (oops!-Terrier) keeps me busy, and I love to snow ski, read, take photos, walk/jog, travel, watch basketball, soccer and baseball as time allows. I am currently working on a certification in life coaching that certainly complements and gives a real name to what I have been doing all along as a faculty representative for Admissions!
